Diabetes Awareness Month
Diabetes is on the rise. More than 400 million adults are living with Diabetes and is the cause of more than 1.5 million deaths annually.
The biggest risk factors for diabetes are an unhealthy diet, physical inactivity, and being overweight.
Luckily, lowering your risk for developing diabetes or treating type 2 diabetes can be achieved by eating a healthier diet, engaging in physical activity, and avoiding excessive weight gain.
